Antionette (Toni) Marie Giusto, 66, of Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest in her home on September 09, 2021
She was born in Augusta, Georgia, on October 22, 1954, to her parents Edward J Giusto and Emily Cannon Giusto. As a lifelong member, she laid roots throughout the Augusta community. She was an independent accountant (Foolscap Resources) who helped new, small businesses in the downtown area launch onto their paths and many others throughout the CSRA. She opened up Countersync Countertops in 2002, contributing to the downtown growth. To unwind, she would play disc golf, so it was natural she became the bookkeeper for the National Disc Golf Association, where she worked until her retirement. Besides being a numbers gal, she had a great love for the written word. Fiction, crossword puzzles, puns, and any sources of wit got her stirring. A masterful home cook and barista. Lover of gardens and flowers and her constant companions of cats, which came in twos.
Toni is preceded in death by her parents, Edward J Giusto and Emily Cannon Giusto; her husband, Michael Welch. Survivors include her adoring partner, David Lewis; brother, Edward (Butch) A. Giusto; stepbrother, Thomas Giusto; nieces, Lydia T. Pacheco and Leela M. Hoehn; nephews, Robert (Chip) Herring and Scot A. Herring; stepson, Aubrey Reagan Trisler.
There will be a celebration of her life on November 6, 2021, at the Franke Pavilion in Pendleton King Park Augusta, Georgia, from 2-4 pm, held by her family and friends.
In place of formality, please buy or pick some flowers for your home. One of Toni's greatest delights was a bouquet, however fancy or simple.
